Questions
- Is Trekit free?
- Yes. The map and your places are free. A paid option for bloggers may come later; nothing is charged today.
- Do I need an account?
- Not to start. Open the app and add your places; they save in your browser. Accounts, profile links and embeds are coming, so don’t clear your browser data until then.
- Can I put my map on my blog or in my bio?
- Soon. The share link and the embed are the first things after accounts: one link or one line of code, and it updates every time you add a place. Waitlist members get it first.
- Is this another feed?
- No. No infinite scroll, no like counts. Your map answers the question so you don’t have to.
- What do you do with my data?
- As little as possible. Today your places stay in your browser and never reach us; the waitlist email goes to Formspree. No cookies, no analytics, no ads, and we will never sell it. The details are on the privacy page.
